Save The Bee

Our application “Save The Bee” is aimed to be an educational VR game for children and teens focusing on the topic of caring for the environment. It is a simple game that places the user in an open space surrounded by trees and starts with rubbish, clouds of dust, bees flying around and a net laying on the ground next to the Player. The main point of the game is to protect the bee and clear the space around you catching all the rubbish and dust using the net which can be picked up from the ground by the user. As it is just a prototype of a game, the gameplay is quite short and to win the game the user will only need to score five points which can be done easily in a short time. Whenever the player hits one of the bees with the net, they also lose a point and “achieving” a total of negative five points will result in losing the game. In that case, or when the player wins, they can restart the game. We have also implemented a main menu with instructions on how to play the game, which is a separate scene from which users can select the play button, which will load the actual game.
